In honor of National Activities Professional Week, we'd like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Activity Director, Vicki, and her devoted team for their creativity, kindness, and devotion to our residents! Activities are the heartbeat of our facility, keeping residents active, happy, and involved. We love witnessing our residents thrive thanks to our incredible Activities Team at Park Health Center!
With an impressive 46 years in activities, Vicki's journey led her to Park Health, where she shines the brightest. Transitioning from housekeeping, an administrator recognized her calling in activities. One-on-one time with residents is Vicki's favorite, as she delights in learning their preferences and bringing smiles to their faces.
With a rich background, Elaine, a former speech therapist, found her true passion in activities. Dedicated to Park Health for just over two years, she worked 12 years at another nursing home. Vicki praises Elaine's dedication, and Elaine's favorite activity is music, where residents light up with dance and song.
In his three-year activities career, CJ, a dedicated driver, brings residents to appointments, fostering one-on-one connections. At Park, he appreciates the open-door policy and goes the extra mile, always ready to help with a smile.
