Celebrating 10 Years of Service

Park Health is celebrating ten years of service with our awesome Activity Director, Vicki Williamson!

Vicki is the most caring, selfless person and puts our residents' and employees' needs before her own. She is always there to give a helping hand, whether she goes shopping for the residents, plans the activities, or sets up games and celebrations for the staff. She always has something prepared to make Park Health the happiest place to be!

Vicki has worked at two different nursing homes, totaling 45 years in activities! She started out as a housekeeper, and the Administrator told her that she was born to be an Activities Director, so she switched and said it was the best decision she ever made.



Vicki loves the residents and listening to their stories and history and is amazed what some of these residents have been through. "I could not ask for better activities staff. I have an awesome team who is very dedicated and loves the residents just as much as I do," said Vicki. "I could also not ask for a better facility to work at. The people here are just like family to me, and it feels like home here."

“It’s not about how much you do; it’s about how much love you put into doing it. That’s what I think of when I think of Vicki. It takes a village to run a long-term care building, and the Director of Activities is one of the most important aspects, especially when it comes to our residents' mental health," said co-worker, Kassandra Cattran. "Vicki goes above and beyond to meet the needs of our loved ones. When my grandma was here, the one thing she wanted to do before she passed was to go home one more time. Vicki made sure to make that happen ... I’ll never forget that day. She truly does go above and beyond for everyone. The staff and all the residents are so lucky to have her. Be the type of coworker you want to work with. I’d love to be just like her."

Another co-worker, Elaine, shared, "Vicki loves the residents, loves to spoil people, and make them happy. I’m grateful she’s my coworker."

"Vicki is not just my boss; she is more like a mother to me. She goes above and beyond for the residents and staff here, and I can’t even begin to tell you how much she has done for me. Thank you, Vicki, for everything you do," expressed Audra.

Thank you again, Vicki, for the ten years of hard work, dedication, and passion. You are more than just an Activities Director here at Park Health. Thank you for being an essential part of our Park Family!
